Gordon R. Hoffman, 57, of Bloomfield Township died Saturday February 15th, 2014 at his home in Ivanhoe. Gordon Richard Hoffman was born October 4th, 1956 to the late Ronald and Nancy Hoffman in Libertyville, Ill. Gordon was a member of the 1974 graduating class of Wauconda High School. Gordon was united in marriage to the former Yanaka Pearson in Woodland Park, Colorado on April 24th, 1982.
Gordon is survived by his wife of 31 years Yanaka. Gordon is survived by his three children Karl (Jill) Hoffman of Pell Lake, WI. Brian Hoffman of Pell Lake, WI., and Jeffery Hoffman of Colorado Springs, CO. 2 Sisters: Cheryl (Rich) Braune of Twin Lakes, WI. and Wendy (Larry Cleary) Hoffman of Florissant, CO. also survive Gordon. 1 niece Jenny (Shawn) Elwood of Pell Lake, WI. and 1 nephew, Kelly Braune survive Gordon. 2 great-nephews Jesse James Elwood and Eli Elwood and 2 great nieces, Genna Braune and Jhazi Talbert also survive Gordon. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents Ronald and Nancy Hoffman and one brother, Marty Hoffman.
Services for Gordon will be private and held by the family. The Derrick Funeral Home and Cremation services are helping the family.
