Gail F. (Larsen) Nichols

Gail F. Nichols was born to the late Harold and Mardelle Larsen on May 24, 1941 in Lake Geneva and died September 5, 2024 in her home.

Gail graduated in 1959 with the first graduating class from Badger High School.  She married John (Jack) Nichols in 1963. They began their life together in Owasso MI.  From there they enjoyed time in Atlanta, Orlando, San Jose, CA, Mundelein, IL, and then  back to Lake Geneva.  Being a mom to James and Bill was the highlight of her life.

Gail enjoyed volunteer work in the community. She loved working the elections because she got to talk to everyone in town. Being a Fire Bell was an honor for her because of the respect she had for the Firemen and all that they did for the community. Gail had a gift of adding humor to any situation.  She managed to have fun at every job, card game, golf game, and gathering of any kind.

Gail is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jack.  Two children: Bill Nichols, James (Molly) Nichols and grandson Liam Nichols. Siblings: Tom (Bernie) Larsen,  Jo (Pontz) von Pontz, John (Becky) Larsen,  Rex Larsen, sister in law Barb Larsen.  Niece's and nephews: Dierdra, Tara, Ryan, Sara, Gary, Laura, Shalese, Derek, Shawn, Josh.

Gail was proceeded in death by her parents, Harold and Mardelle Larsen, her brother Jim Larsen, and 2 sisters Connie Bartusch, and Eileen Larsen.

She will be dearly missed by her many many friends and family.

Services for Gail will be held on Saturday September 14th, 2024 at 1:00pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church.  There will be time after the service for fellowship and gathering.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family has asked that you donate in Gail's name to either: Immanuel Lutheran Church or Aurora At Home Hospice.
