Gabriel Andrew Pond, born on July 23, 1976, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, passed away on February 5, 2026, in Brookfield, Wisconsin. He is remembered as a dedicated family man who was always there for his loved ones, an avid music enthusiast, and whose passion for sports was matched only by his knowledge of them.

Gabriel graduated from Badger High School in 1994. Upon his graduation, Gabe made the decision to change his path with a change of scenery by moving to Colorado. While realizing his love for the outdoors, he decided to follow a path that kept him close to his friends and brother Justin by working in the field of landscaping. Although he changed jobs, Gabe always put his whole heart into his work while continuing his search for something that joined working with his hands and a career outdoors.

He was particularly fond of the summer position at Alpine Valley Music Theater, where he could immerse himself in the vibrant atmosphere of live music. A true connoisseur of concerts, Gabriel's affection for music was encapsulated in his love for the band Phish, with whom he embraced countless cherished memories over the years.

A devoted sports fan, Gabriel proudly supported the Chicago Cubs and the Green Bay Packers. His passion for sports and music brought joy to his life and those around him.

Gabriel is survived by his loving children, Lauren Foley and Aiden Pond, as well as his cherished grandchild, Moxley. He leaves behind his father, Michael Pond, and his mom, Debbie Pond. His siblings, Charity Kaestner and Justin (Heather) Pond, also mourn the loss of their beloved irreplaceable brother, as well as his nieces and nephews- Michael, Kali, Cole, Ellason, and Lucee.

Gabriel is preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn Marie Reimer, who passed away in February 2020.

A visitation will be held on February 19, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Derrick Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 800 Park Dr, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.

Gabriel Andrew Pond will be dearly missed by all who knew him, remembered for his warm and gentle spirit, love of family and friends, and zest for music and life. The family would like to encourage those who wish, to wear their favorite music/concert attire in honor of Gabe.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family has asked that you make a donation in Gabriel's name to the Lakeland Animal Shelter.
