Fred John Knutsen
January 19, 1955 — January 11, 2016
Fred J. Knutsen, 60, of the Lake Geneva area died unexpectantly at his home.
Born Fred John Knutsen to Fredrik and Virginia (Groh) Knutsen in Chicago, Illinois on January 19 th , 1955. Fred was a member of the graduating class of 1973 from Thornridge High School in Dolton, Illinois. After high school Fred went on to Western Illinois University where he earned a bachelors degree in Health Science with a minor in Physical Education.
Fred was a lover of golf. He was also a member of the Sons of Norway and also a member of the Moose Lodge of Harvard, Illinois since 1997.
Fred is survived by his parents: Fredrik and Virginia Knutsen. Two sisters: Laura Knop of Ladysmith, WI and Terri (Kevin Sheridan) Hertzel of Darien, Illinois survive Fred. Four Nieces and Nephews, 5 Great Nieces and Nephews, and more friends then we have room to list all survive Fred.
Services for Fred will be held at 2:00pm in the chapel of Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva. There will be a visitation for Fred from 10:00am until the time of the service.
