Francis B. “Frank” Jedda, 94, of Lake Geneva, WI, died Tuesday July 24, 2012 at
Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, WI.  Francis B. Jedda was born in Iron Mountain, MI on March 8, 1918 the son of the late Frank and Clara (Bugni) Jedda.  He graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1936.  On May 2, 1942, in Sherman, TX, he was united in marriage to the former Nell Bates; she preceded him in death on February 19, 2007.  He was a Veteran of World War II serving with the United State Army Air Corps as a photographer.  Several of his photographs were featured in Life Magazine.  He was the manager of the Montgomery Ward’s Store in Lake Geneva from 1958 until 1973.  In 1974 he purchased the Stop and Shop Liquors and Deli on Broad Street and ran it until 1987.  He
was a member of the Lake Geneva Water Commission from 1983-1994.  He was a former member of the Lake Geneva Lions Club.  He was an avid golfer and was a regular member of the Wednesday men’s league at Hillmoor Country Club in Lake Geneva.
Frank is survived by: 2 children Carol Zirk of Waukegan, IL and David Jedda of Waukegan, IL, 3 grandchildren; Nicole (Michael) Keens, Anthony Zirk and Elena (Tod) Serrano- Distler, 3 great-grandchildren; Michael Keens Jr., Jon Henry Distler and Paul Wyatt Distler and a daughter-in-law Virginia Jedda of Lake Geneva. He was preceded in death by a son Jon and a brother Charles.
Private family services will be held at a later date.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested in Frank’s name to: M.D.S., 4573 S. Broad St., Suite 150, Yardville, NJ 08620 or on line at mdsfoundation.org/donate.
