Frances L. (Lane) Racette

Frances L. Racette, 91 of Lake Geneva, WI, passed away Wednesday December 1,  2021 at Arbor View, Burlington, WI.  The former Frances Laura Lane was born in Chicago, IL on December 18, 1929 the daughter of the late Francis and Edith (Bixler) Lane.  On October 15, 1949 in Chicago she was united in marriage to Eugene Racette; he preceded her in death.  Frances was a member of the Richmond, IL Garden Club for many years..  She also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends.

Frances is survived by:  7 children; Lorene (Rich Tickner) Racette, Michael (Debra) Racette, Craig (Amy) Racette, Elizabeth, Racette, Timothy (Ann) Racette, Mary (Chris) Louis, and Christopher (Marietta) Racette, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband Eugene, a son Gary and 2 sisters Marge Johnson and Rosemary Bartels.

There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends Saturday December 4, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the main chapel of the Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date.
