Esther Marie (Lundberg) Krueger

Esther Marie Krueger, 92, formally of Pell Lake died September 27th, 2013 at Marquardt nursing home in Watertown, WI. Esther Marie Lundberg was born on August 21st, 1921 in the Township of Louriston Chippewa Co., Minnesota to the late Gustaf and Louise (Radimacher) Lundberg. Esther was united into marriage to the late Marvin Krueger on August 29th, 1939 in Benson, Minnesota. After Esther and Marvin were married the moved around quite a bit and finally settled down in Pell Lake, WI. Esther enjoyed going fishing with her husband and she enjoyed playing bingo at the nursing home.
Esther is survived by her 7 children: Louise (James) Dowty of Waldo, WI, Darlene (Lyle) Garbelman of Oconomowoc, WI, Shirley Holland of Pell Lake, WI, Jean Merida of Cambridge City, IN., Sandy (Glen) Wegner of Lake Geneva, WI, David (Joanne) Krueger of Delevan, WI, and Darrel Krueger of Lake Geneva, WI, Esther is also survived by: 13 Grandchildren, 24 Great-Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Esther was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Marvin Krueger in 1999.
Services for Esther will be on Tuesday October 1st, 2013 at 11:00a.m. in the chapel of the Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva: Rev. Brian D. Metke will be presiding. Burial will follow at Bloomfield Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday September 30th, 2013 from the hours of 4:00p.m. -8:00p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of other expression of sympathy the family has asked that you make a donation in Esther’s name to Marquardt Manor Nursing home hospice in Watertown, WI, a link has been provided for your convenience on our website.
