Esther Naomi (Hinzpeter) Laskowski

Esther N. Laskowski, 84, a lifelong resident of the Lake Geneva area passed away on July 30th, 2021, at Lakeland Nursing Home.

Born Esther Naomi Hinzpeter to the late Fredrick and Marion (Schatzman) Hinzepeter in on July 3rd, 1937, in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.

Esther, better known as Ma to her friends and family, spent much of her life working at local laundromats.  Esther lived to work and loved every aspect of what she did for a living.  When Esther wasn’t working, she loved to just hang out with anyone that she could.  She loved to go on long walks outside and enjoyed going out to dinner whenever possible.

Esther is survived by seven children: John (Marilyn) Laskowski, Nadine Crones, Frances (Steve) Hentges, Sue (Nick) Larson, Sandra (Dave) Schultz, Fred (Dawn) Laskowski, and Betty Laskowski.  Esther is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one sister Patricia Hagemann.

Services for Esther will be held on Monday August 16th, 2021, at 6:00pm in the main chapel of Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva.  Visitation will be held on the 16th from 4:00pm till the time of service.
