Eleanor R. Gorski, 84, of Lake Geneva, WI, died Thursday May 7, 2015 at Arbor Village in Lake Geneva. The former Eleanor Rose Wesoloski was born in Wallace, MI on July 23, 1930 the daughter of the late John and Rose (Polczinski) Wesoloski. She was a graduate of Menomonee High School in Menomonee, MI. On April 23, 1960 in Chicago, IL she was united in marriage to Stanley J. Gorski; he preceded her in death on June 23, 2008. She was a member of Saint Francis deSales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva and sang in the choir. She also was a member of the Hill Toppers club at the church. She was an avid card player and an excellent bowler. She loved working in her yard and could be seen outside at all hours of the day.
Eleanor is survived by: 4 children; Rose Ann (Matt) Lemke of Lake Geneva, WI, John S. (Nicki) Gorski of Bothell, WA, Mary Jo (David) Koppenhofer of Indianapolis, IN, and Amy (Ryan) Humphrey of Zionsville, IN, 9 grandchildren; Jenna and Jeremy, Noah and Natalie, Grace, Lucas and Harrison and Adam and Eric, and a brother Raymond Wesoloski of Menomonee, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters and 9 brothers.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Saturday May 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Saint Francis deSales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva; Father Jim Scheurman will officiate. Burial will follow in Saint Francis deSales Catholic Cemetery. The Gorski family will receive visitors Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva.
