Dorothy "Dody" (Leff) Barlow

Dorothy M. “Dody” Barlow, 83, of Lake Geneva, WI, died Wednesday October 17, 2012 at Angel’s Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc, WI. The former Dorothy Maryann Leff was born in Waubun, MN on June 12, 1925 the daughter of the late Frank and Barbara (Shebecka) Leff. She graduated from Waubun High School in 1943. On July 6, 1948 in Lake Geneva, WI she was united in marriage to Glen W. Barlow; he preceded her in death on December 15, 2009. She was a member of Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva, a member of the National Catholic Society of Forresters and the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Elkhorn, WI.
Dorothy is survived by: 2 children; Mary (Robert) Hartrich of Sullivan, WI and Timothy (Suzanne) Barlow of Beloit, WI, 4 grandchildren; Crystal Barlow, Brent Barlow Kelly Amidei and Mike (Brittany) Amidei, 2 great-grandchildren; Taylor Zeise and Cayden Amidei and a sister Ann Lemery of Detroit, MN. She was preceded in death by: her parents, 4 brothers; Frank Leff Jr., George Leff, Leonard Leff, and Robert Leff, and 2 sisters; Marcella Suda and Ceceila Worms.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Monday October 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva; Father Jim Schuerman will officiate. Burial will be in Saint Francis de Sales Cemetery. The Barlow family will receive visitors Monday, in church, from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
