Donald F. Briere, 61, of Lake Geneva, WI, died unexpectedly on Saturday March, 1, 2014 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, in Waukesha, WI. Don was born on July 16, 1952 in Burlington, WI the son of Joseph and Helen (Hunsbusher) Briere. He was raised in New Munster, WI where he attended St. Alphonsus Grade School. He graduated from Salem Central High School with the class of 1970. On December 7, 1991 in Lake Como, WI, he was united in marriage to the former Lorraine Graham. He retired from Nestle USA in September of 2013 after 41 years of service. He was an avid golfer and hunter.
Don is survived by: Lorraine, his wife of 22 years, and a brother David and his partner David DuPre of Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 infant sisters; Elizabeth Ann and Donna Marie.
A Celebration of Don’s life will be held on Thursday March 6, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Derrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Lake Geneva, WI.
