Donald W. Bearder

Donald W. Bearder, 81, a lifelong resident of Lake Geneva, died Monday July 6, 2015 at Saint Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI.  Donald William Bearder was born in Waukesha, WI on December 5, 1933 the son of the late Al and Fern (Pobanz) Bearder.  He graduated from Lake Geneva High School in 1952; he then graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism.  He was a member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity.  On November 5, 1960 in Lake Geneva, WI he was united in marriage to the former Judith M. Clark.  He had been the publisher of the Lake Geneva Regional News for many years. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Delavan, WI.
Don is survived by: Judith, his wife of 54 years, 2 sons; Douglas (Lolita Margaret) Bearder of Lake Geneva and William Clark Bearder also of Lake Geneva, and 2 grandchildren Rachel and Jenna.
Memorial Services for Don will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday July 22, 2015 at Christ Episcopal Church in Delavan, WI; Father Joel Prather will officiate.  Visitation will be Wednesday in church from 10:00 a.m. until time of services..  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested in Don’s name to Christ Episcopal Church of Delavan Endowment Fund, 503 E.
