Dominic Ronald Trumfio

Dr. Dominic R. Trumfio, D.D.S., 80, passed away on April 21, 2023, at his home in Williams Bay, Wisconsin. He was born on November 3, 1942, in Chicago, IL, to Harry and Mary Trumfio. Dominic was a loving father, grandfather, brother, son, friend, cousin, and a beloved uncle to many, either by blood or by honor. After attending the Loyola School of Dentistry, he practiced dentistry in the Chicagoland area for over 50 years, tenderly caring for hundreds (if not thousands) of patients who loved and adored him. Professionally, he was a loyal partner and eventual mentor as he passed along his legacy of compassionate care. He loved to cook. He cheffed alongside his cooking companion, Chef John Bogan, and was published in his cookbook. He made wine with cherished friends and produced many wonderful vintages under the label - Casa D'Amici (House of Friends) and then Triumverate (a play on words and the combination of the names of his grape stomping companions). He loved bringing people together. Alongside his wife, Marge, he ran the Watersedge Bed & Breakfast in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin for nearly 20 years, helping create countless memories for those who came through their home and business. Dominic is survived by his wife, Margaret; his three sons, David (Ronna), Harry (Aniko), and Dominic; his brother, Harry Trumfio (Lori); his sister, Janice Wilson; and his grandchildren Jasper and Bennett. His parents, Harry and Mary Trumfio preceded him in death. Dominic was a man of prayer. He prayed daily for many that he loved and cared for. He also loved to sing and was part of the church choir at St. Benedict's in Fontana, WI for many years. Ultimately putting all his skill to work serving as the choir Social Chair. His services will be held on Monday, May 8th at St. Benedict's Church. Visitation at 9am and Funeral Mass at 11am. All are welcome - as he would have wished.
