Derrick Curtis Fiegel

Derrick C. Fiegel, 39, of Machesney Park, Illinois passed away unexpectedly on October 18th, 2021, in Burlington Wisconsin.

Born Derrick Curtis Fiegel to Gregory and Connie (Robertson) Fiegel in Belvidere, Illinois in July of 1982.  Derrick was a recovering addict.  At the time of his death Derrick had been clean for a year and a half.  The reward for this was a new motorcycle, which he loved to ride whenever he could.  Derrick loved to fix cars and put in custom stereos.  Derrick was a member of a local snowmobile club and just finished teaching himself how to weld.

Derrick is survived by his wife of 20 years, Brandy.  Four Children: Calvin (Kaitlin), Riley, Autumn, and Taylin, along with his one fur baby, Kora, all survive Derrick. Derrick’s mother, Connie, his inlaws Teresa and George Johnson along with nine siblings: Kevin (Sarah) Robertson, Preston (Michelle) Fiegel, Leo (Loretta) Fiegel, Carol Werth, Bruce Fiegel, Beth Ann (Brandon) Kaizer, Kameron Morris, Dalton Johnson, and Dakota Johnson, all survive him.  Derrick was proceeded in death by his father, Gregory Fiegel, and his father-in-law Timothy J. Morris.

A visitation will be held on Saturday November 6th, 2021, from 6:00pm till 8:00pm in the main chapel of Derrick Funeral Home.  A celebration of Derricks life will happen on Sunday November 7th, 2021, at Friends on the Square in Elkhorn, Wisconsin from 1:00pm till 3:00pm.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family has asked for donation to them to help offset the funeral cost.  A donation can be made online by using the “Donate” tab at the top of the obituary.
