Deborah "Debbie" Franzen

Due to unforeseen circumstances the funeral mass and burial has been postponed until next week.

Visitation will still be held tonight January 13, 2021 from 4 till 6.

Deborah “Debbie” Franzen 59, of Lake Geneva, WI, passed away Saturday January 8, 2022 at Aurora Lakeland Medical  Center.  Debbie was born in Evanston, IL on April 3, 1962 the daughter of Nancy Franzen.  Debbie was a graduate of Lakeland School in Elkhorn, WI.  She had worked for V.I.P. in Elkhorn.

Debbie was a warm, friendly, loving and outgoing person who enjoyed being with people.  She loved E.M.T.’s; with hopes of one day being one herself. She was a talented artist and was a member of Studio 84 in Whitewater, WI.  She had sold several of her paintings.

Debbie is survived by: her mother Nancy, a sister Denise (Jim) Naset and 2 brothers Douglas (Susan) Franzen and Dennis (Connie) Franzen.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Debbie on Friday January 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Francis deSales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva.  Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Geneva.  Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the main chapel of the Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested in Debbie’s name to the Saint Francis deSales Angel Fund.
