David Jon Leverick

David Jon Leverick, beloved brother, uncle, and godfather passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025 at Archwood Senior Living in Salem Lakes, WI.

Dave was born on June 10, 1955, in Highland Park, IL to Emil and LaVerne Leverick (Ansami). Dave grew up in Arlington Heights

Dave graduated high school from Hersey High in 1974. He then attended Harper College as well. Dave was a baker from 1974 until he stopped working in 2017.

Dave had many dogs who he adored throughout his life. His beloved Allie was a light in his life.

In addition to his love for baking, Dave also loved to garden, cheer on the Green Bay Packers, cruise and travel. He would often ask his family members when was going to be the next time they took a trip “up north”. He loved going to Olive Garden to share a meal with his family. Dave loved spending time with his niece and nephew, who he lived for.

Dave will be remembered by his quick wit, humor and his love for Christmas.

Dave is survived by his aunt Anna and uncle Bob of Highland Park IL, brother Mick (Jackie) Leverick of Kingston Idaho, his sister Lynne (late Gary) of Lake Geneva WI, niece Zoe (Ryan) Mosley of Elkhorn WI, nephew Zachary Gray of Lake Geneva WI, many cousins and Allie Leverick (his beloved border collie who is living with Lynne). Dave is proceeded in death by his parents Emil and LaVerne Leverick, and many aunts and uncles.

A celebration of life will be hosted by the family at a later date.

Dave will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those he loved and who love him.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Heart Association in David’s memory.
