David Richard Hill

David Richard Hill, born May 8, 1953, died Friday August 23, 2019 at his home. David grew up in Genoa City, he lived in Lake Geneva for several years before becoming a long time resident of Lyons Township.  David was a skilled carpenter and craftsman.  He was a lover of nature, an avid Harley rider and classic van enthusiast, he enjoyed hunting and camping.

David is survived by: his wife Karla, daughter Erica Hill Pfeiffer (Mark), son Mason Hill (Kelly), grandchildren; Lilah, Warren, Eden, Harris, and Ridge, his step-mother Glenda Hill, his mother-in-law Norma Schneider, 7 sisters, 3 brothers and many nieces and nephews.  He will be with us always as husband, father, grandfather, son, uncle, brother and friend.

Memorial services for David will be held Wednesday August 28, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the Lake Geneva United Methodist Church, followed by a Celebration of Life party at Horticultural Hall in Lake Geneva from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Dave  wished to invite anyone who wants “to share a beer or a bourbon” to attend his Celebration of Life.  Derrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services is honored to be assisting the Hill family.  To sign the on-line guest registry click Guest Book.
