Danille Sue (Schmidt) Reiff

Danille S. Reiff, 53, of the Lake Geneva area passed away at her home surrounded by her family and friends on August 27th, 2020.

Born Danille Sue Schmidt to Duane and Charlotte Schmidt on March 14, 1967.  Danille, or Dani as she is better known, was a member of the graduating class of 1985 from Badger High School in Lake Geneva. Dani was married to Scott Reiff on May 8th, 1999.

Dani worked as a flight attendant for 20 years and enjoyed the travel opportunities the job gave her and great friends along the way.  Dani has a special place in her heart for all dogs, but especially her beloved labs.  Dani’s favorite place to be was on or near the water, spending as much time as possible on their boat on Geneva Lake.  Dani and Scott have a camper on Lake Camelot, Wi and spent many weekends boating, kayaking, and 4 wheeling.  Dani also loved taking many beach vacations to Florida.  Dani was very socially active and enjoyed being out surrounded by her great group of best friends.

Dani is survived by her husband Scott, her Mother, Charlotte Schmidt of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.  Dani’s father Duane (Doreen) Schmidt of Stevensville, MI., also survives her.  Dani’s sisters: Debbie Olson of Colby, WI and Darcey Bauer of Oak Creek, WI, along with nephew and nieces Mike (Tyana) Olson, Jake (Sierra) Olson, Carter Bauer and Mae Bauer and many close aunts, uncles and cousins all survive her.  Dani was proceeded in death by her father-in-law, David Reiff, and family friend Larry Hicks.

Services for Dani will be held on Thursday September 10th, 2020 at 5:00pm in the main chapel of Derrick Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held from 3:00pm on the 10th until the time of service.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family has asked that you make a donation in Dani’s name to the Lakeland Animal Shelter.  A link has been provided below.
