C. W. “Clem” Clemen, 94, of Williams Bay, WI passed away peacefully Wednesday July 25, 2012 at Ridge Stone Village in Delavan, WI. Clarence William Clemen was born in Chicago, IL on November 20, 1917 the son of the late William and Clara (Holmes) Clemen. He was a Veteran of World War II serving with the United States Army as a First Lieutenant in the Infantry in the South Pacific. On May 1, 1944 in Chicago, IL he was united in marriage to the former Florence Corbett: she preceded him in death on March 23, 2010.
Clem worked in the stationary industry for 50 years with the G.J. Aigner Company and retired Chairman and C.E.O in 1981. He also served the Office Products Association, receiving awards for his many contributions.
Clem was most loved for his outgoing personality and his engaging sense of humor. He spent his retirement with his wife "Flo" and enjoyed fishing and boating on Lake Geneva. He is survived by: 4 children; Robert (Lynn) Clemen of Williams Bay, WI, Charles (Donna) Clemen of Mundelein, IL, Susan (Jon) Danforth of Spring Grove, MN and Barbara (Jim) Doll of Sarasota, FL and Lake Geneva, WI, 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister Edith Schoenan.
