Christopher Lee Heinrich

Christopher L. Heinrich, 40, of the Elkhorn, Wisconsin, area passed away at his home on March 2, 2024.

Chris was born on August 28, 1983, to Linda Fleckenstein and the late Kenneth Heinrich.  On October 31, 2007, in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, Chris was united into marriage to Kiya Gibson.

Chris was a man that was all about family and friends.  Chris loved a good cookout and the parties that went with them.  You could find him manning the grill when it was time to cook.  Chris liked working with his hands doing woodwork and building furniture.  He spent a short time coaching his kids Lacrosse team in Elkhorn. Chris was always there when you needed him and never told anyone no, he couldn’t help.  He loved going for rides on his Harley, loved his dogs Akasha, Atgreyu, and Zillah the rot who he had the most fondness for.  Chris was known at his job as “Tye Die Chris” as he would wear the shirts that his kids would make for him to wear to work and was proud of it.  Chris loved life, loved his friends but nothing could pass up the love he had for his wife and his kids.

Chris is survived by his wife of 16 years, Kiya.  His two children: Zoey and Graysen; his mother Linda, and his 4 siblings: Roxanne (Keith), Samantha, Jennifer, and Thomas, all survive him.  Chris was proceeded in death by his dad, Kenneth, on August 1st, 1993.

A gathering of friends and family will take place on Tuesday March 12th, 2024, from the hours of 4:00pm till 6:00pm in the main chapel of Derrick Funeral Home. There will be time for sharing memories about Chris from 5:30 till 6:00pm.
