Cheryl "Cherie" A. Cupernall

Cheryl “Cherie” Cupernall, 73, of Lake Geneva passed away peacefully on December 18th.  Originally from Alexandria Bay, New York, Cheri spent many of her years in Madison, Wisconsin.  Born to Ann Rogers Cupernall and Robert “Sonny” Cupernall, both of Alexandria Bay, New York, Cheri moved to Lake Geneva recently and resided at Pinecrest Assisted Living facility.  Cheri was the sister of Georgianna Whalen (nee Cupernall).

Everyone Cheri met became an instant friend and she had quite a contagious laugh.  She loved chatting people up at the Owl Tavern with an O’Doul’s in hand and looking at the boats going by on Lake Geneva.  Cheri enjoyed spending time with her nephew and nieces and she was a devoted mother to many cats her sister, who moved around a lot, dumped on her over the years.

Cheri is survived by her sister Georgi, her brother-in-law Rich and their children Jack, Lauren and Natalie.
