Charles Edward Hupe

Charles Edward Hupe, 87, of the Lake Geneva area passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 24th, 2023.

Charles was born on February 12, 1936, to the late Edward and Merle (Smith) Hupe in West Lafayette, Indiana.  Charles was a member of the graduating class of 1956 from Lafayette Jefferson High School. Following high school, Charles attended Purdue University where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

Charles had a long career in finance and investments working at the General Electric Company, Merrill Lynch and Robert W. Baird.

Charles was also an intensive sports fan which included being an ardent and steadfast supporter of The Purdue University basketball and football programs. Charles also enjoyed following and cheering on the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and Milwaukee Bucks.

Two children survive Charles: Scott Hupe (his wife Valerie) and Jeffrey Hupe (his wife Heidi) and five grandchildren – Alexandre, Nicholas and Elizabeth, Kate and Elliot respectively.

Private Services for Charles will be held on a future date at Saint Bonafice Cemetary in Lafayette, Indiana
