Charles A. Boehland, 60, of Lake Geneva Area passed away suddenly Saturday September 6, 2014. Charlie was born on June 26th, 1954, to Robert and Nancy Boehland in Rockford, Illinois.
Charlie graduated from Badger High School in Lake Geneva in 1972. After high school Charlie served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He then attended the University of Wisconsin Madison where he received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics.
He married Beth Phillips on August 6, 1983, at Linn Presbyterian Church in Lake Geneva.
Charlie was a member of the Lake Geneva Country Club and a former member of the Chicago Board of Trade.
Charlie is survived by his wife Beth; their three son’s: Mark (Pam) Boehland of Annapolis, MD, Bill Boehland of Denver, CO, and Scott Boehland of Lake Geneva; his two brothers, Birney (Mary) Boehland of Charleston, S.C., and Thomas (Kim) Boehland of Minneapolis, MN; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Robert Boehland.
Visitation will start at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at the Linn Presbyterian Church with a memorial service to follow. Pastor Terry Hennesy will be presiding.
