Bradley G. Baker, 61, a lifelong resident of the Lyons/Burlington area died at his home on Thursday March 5th, 2015.

Born Bradley Gene Baker to the late Harold and Dorothy Baker on August 18th, 1953 in Burlington, Wisconsin.   Brad was a graduating member of the class of 1971 from Burlington High School.  On July 5th, 1975 Brad was united in marriage to the former Cheryl Thomas at St. Charles Catholic Church in Burlington, Wisconsin.

Brad loved NASCAR, the Milwaukee Brewers, The Green Bay Packers and loved playing Golf.

Brad’s wife of 39 years, Cheryl Ann (Thomas) Baker survives him.  Brads 2 children: Stephanie (Baker) Thomsen of Burlington, WI and Kyle Baker of Oak Creek, WI survive Brad.  2 grandchildren: Markus “Duke” and Ava Thomson survive Brad.  1 brother: David (Donna) Baker of Broomfield, CO survives Brad.  2 Nieces: M’Lissa (Tom) McDonald of Keller, Texas and Heather Baker of Broomfield, CO and 1 great-niece: Kaylan survives Brad.

Cheryl, Stephanie, and Kyle would like to send a big thank you to the 12th floor nurses and aides for their kindness and friendships that were made during Brad’s stay.

Services for Brad will be held on Saturday March 14th, 2015 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of the Derrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Lake Geneva, WI: Deacon James Nickel will be presiding.  Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the time of the service.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family has asked that donations be made to Brad’s family to help offset the medical expenses that had accumulated during Brad’s illness.
