Bobbie Jean was the cherished daughter of Ralph and Myrtle Dickman, both of whom preceded her in passing, and sister to her late brother Ted. Her early years, suffused with family bonds and formative experiences, set the stage for a life marked by resilience and warmth. She proudly graduated from Delavan-Darien High School in 1966, a milestone that launched her into a world she would influence with deep affection, devotion, and an infectious zest for life.

To her surviving loved ones, Bobbie leaves a profound legacy of nurturing presence and laughter. Her son Steve Wilkins and his wife Leah were ever grateful for her unwavering love, as was her beloved daughter Shelly Osborne and her three grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The enduring support and closeness of her sisters Daryle "Cookie" Jedlicka, and her brother Ralph Dickman, helped shape a circle of comfort and strength that sustained her through joys and sorrows alike.

Bobbie’s love for family extended beyond the immediate; the memory of her son Scott remains forever held within their hearts, a reminder of the enduring connections that define a family.

Known to all who met her as a woman of generosity and warmth, Bobbie found true delight in the simple joys of life. Her kitchen was always fragrant with the comforting aromas of her cherished recipes—she loved to cook and bake, and her foods became the centerpieces of gatherings both grand and intimate. Those lucky enough to share her table knew the magic she spun from butter, flour, and love—a tangible proof of her generosity and hospitality.

In her later years, as she settled into her Senior Living apartment, Bobbie became the very heart of her community. Her lively spirit and infectious humor made her ‘the life of the party,' reminding everyone that age need not diminish the fullness of life or the reach of joy. Her laughter, kindness, and boundless conviviality brought together neighbors and friends, forging lasting memories and a sense of belonging wherever she went.

While family and friends mourn the loss of Bobbie Jean Dangerfield, they likewise gather in gratitude, thankful for the years spent under the light of her affection, her joy for life, and her steadfast presence.
