Barbara Ann (Mills) Ewing

Barbara Ann Ewing, aged 90, passed away on November 3, 2024, in Walworth, Wisconsin. Born on May 18, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois. Barbara dedicated her life to her family and community, embodying the role of a loving mother (4), grandmother (11) and great-grandmother (12 and 1 on the way).

Barbara was deeply involved in her faith community, actively participating at Calvary Community Church, Grace Evangelical Church, and Christ Church of Oak Brook. Her passion for music was evident as she contributed her talents to church choirs and performed with the String Band at numerous retirement homes, bringing joy and upliftment to many.

She is survived by her children, David, Janet, Laurie (Stephen Higgins), and Bonnie (Joseph Bulger). Grandchildren, Cherise, Amanda (Chris Thomas), Heather (Jason Stuyvesant), Corrine (Corinno Torres), Erik (Krystina), Alexander, Trevor, Sean, Morgan (Dan Kenneally) Adrienne and Aidan. Great grandchildren, Joshua, Adam, Noah, Zayden, Nolan, Adeline, Zayleigh , Peyton, Owen, Riley, River, and Sage. Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Douglas Ewing.

A service to honor Barbara's life will be held at Calvary Church in Williams Bay, Wisconsin November 11th, 2024 starting with visitation from 11:00am till 11:30am.  Funeral Service will be held at 11:30. Then, an internment at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Geneva.

Barbara's life was a testament to her loving nature and her commitment to her faith and family. Her legacy of kindness and dedication to her community will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to One Child or Geneva Lake Museum in honor of Barb Ewing. Donations can be made online in Barb's honor to either: Geneva Lake Museum or to One Child .
