Austin P. Solheim

Austin P. Solheim, 92, of Walworth, WI, died Sunday April 26, 2015 at Lakeland Health Care Center in Elkhorn, WI.  Austin Peter Solheim was born August 30, 1922 in Norway the son of the late Peter and Alfhild (Hansen) Solheim.  On February 23, 1952, in Chicago, IL, he was united in marriage to the former Lillian Lunde; she preceded him in death on April 2, 2015.  He was a member of Calvary Community Church in Williams Bay, WI.  Austin is survived by: 3 children; Mark (Pat) Solheim of Lake Geneva, WI, Kirsten Solheim of Lake Geneva and Lisa (Pat) Kenny of Fontana, WI, 11 grandchildren; Kim (Luke) Nelson, Christine (Nate) Olson, Tory Solheim, Bradley, Juliana and Reid Solheim, Cortney and Lexi Blohm, Madeline, Corinnie and Claire Kenny, and 2 great-grandchildren Henrik and Peder Nelson and a daughter-in-law Carol Solheim, 2 sisters; Edith Hanstad of Walworth, WI and Anna Solheim of Chicago, IL and a Brother Howard (Karen) Solheim of Reisterstown, MD.  He was preceded in death by a son Glen.
Memorial Services for Austin will be held on Saturday May 16, 2015 at Calvary Community Church in Williams Bay, WI; Pastor Chuck Cervenka will officiate.  The Solheim family will receive visitors Saturday in church from 11:00 a.m. until time of services.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested in Austin’s name to Calvary Community Church.  Derrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Lake Geneva is assisting the Solheim family with arrangements.  To sign the on-line guest registry click view/sign condolence book at the bottom of this page.
