Anthony A. Sienkowski, 70, of Lake Geneva. Passed away Saturday January 22, 2022 at his home. Anthony Allen Sienkowski was born in Chicago, IL on December 24, 1951 the son of the late Thaddeus and Wanda (Czosnyka) Sienkowski. He was a 1971 graduate of Badger High School in Lake Geneva. From 1971 until 1974 he served with the U. S. Army as an artillery man and prisoner escort. On November 12, 1977, in Palos Hills IL he was united in marriage to the former Elizabeth Schoneich. His recent careers consisted of Financial Advisor for Prentice Securities and A. G. Edwards, with most recent as a Realtor for RE/MAX in Lake Geneva.
Tony was a member of Frank Kresen American Legion Post #24. He was a avid Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packers fan. He enjoyed playing softball in his younger years and always enjoyed playing poker. He loved spending time at his home away from home on the island of Aruba. Many happy hours were spent outdoors bird watching. And he loved his dog Abbey.
Tony is survived by: Liz the love of his life for over 44 years , his son Steven who was also his best friend; they had an exceptional relationship. Tony also cherished his daughter-in-law Kissairis and was very happy for them. He also is survived by his brother Thomas Sienkowski, brother-in-law Andy (Diane) Schoneich, Sister-in-law Caroll Pearson. By nieces and nephews who also enriched his life and he loved dearly. His best moments were those spent with family and friends. He was very thankful for everyone, along with cousin Cynthia Trimble, who supported and helped tremendously during his cancer journey.
Services for Tony will be Friday January 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the main chapel of the Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 pm. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested in Tony’s name to: The Lakeland Animal Shelter or Aurora at Home Hospice.
