Amber Rae Stinebrink (Socha), beloved mother, daughter, sister, wife, and cherished friend, passed away on June 16, 2026, in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Born on July 27, 1983, she was a free spirit with a heart full of love and adventure.
Amber is survived by her loving parents: Don and his wife Traci, and Diane and her husband Bob. The richness of her family extended to her siblings: Nichole and Jc Satterwhite, April and Will Rasmussen, Kristina and Joe Tessendorf, Hannah and Tanner Finnell. Along with her Neices and newphews, Tosh, Jackson, Ollie, Svend, Julia, Violet, Joey, Brett, Edward, Piper, Quinn, Isla, Lincoln, Penelope, Eden, Cali, and Vincent.
Each shared in Amber’s joys and created cherished memories bound by laughter, devotion, and a sense of togetherness that was uniquely theirs.
Amber was a true world traveler whose heart was always drawn to the next destination. She shared that passion with her lifelong partner and soulmate, Timothy Stinebrink, as they followed the Grateful Dead and traveled from Las Vegas to Hawaii, Deer Creek, Indiana, to the northern tip of New Hampshire. Their greatest gift was their daughter, Atlas Rae, who will forever carry her mother's adventurous spirit and boundless love.
Atlas was the light of her life. Her deep pride in Atlas was evident to all who had the privilege of witnessing their special bond. She cherished the dance of motherhood—a love so profound that it will continue to echo in Atlas’s heart.
Amber embraced life and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. She found peace in the beauty of the outdoors. Whether she was gliding across the water on a paddleboard, practicing yoga, or simply soaking in the sunshine, she found joy in life's quiet moments.
Her laughter, warm smile, and compassionate heart will be remembered by those whose lives she touched. Though our hearts ache in her absence, we take comfort in knowing her spirit lives on—in every peaceful sunrise over the water, every moment of stillness, and every act of kindness shared in her memory.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family has asked that you make a donation in Amber's name using the crowdfunding campaign below. The family will then use the money to donate to the White River Park where they will plant a tree in Amber's memory.
