Agnes E. Bronstad, 89, of the Lake Geneva Area died Sunday the 5th of March 2015 at Williams Bay Care Center.
Born Agnes Edna Schiller on September the 6th, 1925 to the late Adolph and Laura Rose (Mundt) Schiller in Pittsville, Wisconsin. On May 20th, 1944 she married the late Niles Bronstad in Wood County Wisconsin.
Agnes was an avid gardener, loved flowers, and was a fantastic cook.
Agnes is survived by her 6 children: Loretta Bobst of Kenosha, Janice (Lee) Linton of Kenosha, Judy (Glen) Palmquist of Sharon, Linda (Lee) Vivirito of Zenda, Laura Bunton of Elkhorn, and Orville Bronstad of Lake Geneva. 11 grandchildren: Vicki, Heather, Eric, Carrie, Brian, Rita, Nicole, Dan, Alicia, Adam, and Andrea survive Agnes. 12 great-grandchildren: MyKala, Alexis, Abigail, Nolan, Jessica, Chelsea, Cloe, Ada, Rhianna, Gennavicia, Liam and Vila and 2 great great grandchildren: Darius and August, all survive Agnes. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years: Niles Bronstad in March 1988. 1 daughter, Ardell, 1 grandson, Michael, and Agnes’s parents all preceded her in death.
Services for Agnes will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday March 19th, 2015 in the chapel of the Derrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Lake Geneva: VNA Chaplin Angie Alesci will be presiding. Visitation for Agnes will be from 11:00am till 1:00pm the day of the service. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery and will follow immediately after the services have concluded.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family has asked that you make a donation in Agnes name to the Alzheimer’s Association. A link has been provided below.
