My heart goes out to Rol's family, Joan and Michael, during this sad time.
I will always remember the good times we had together, staying up all night playing cards, traveling to Vegas, skiing in Michigan and Wisconsin, water skiing in New Hampshire, laughing all the time while enjoying the delicious meals at their home.
This was the time to stop the suffering and go and be with Dieter and Fritz as we will always remember you as you now live in our hearts. Love Judy

Dear Rollen and Family,
Please accept my deepest condolences. I only met Rollen Sr. one time, we talked about his time at Brunswick because my father-in-law was also a controller at Brunswick. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Ann

At a time like this, it's memories that bring a smile and some comfort. One such time was in 2006. We were going to Green Bay via Chicago and Lake Geneva which presented us with an opportunity to meet Joan and Rol at dinner at one of their favorite restaurant--The Village in Lk. Geneva. It was a special part of our trip.
Then, in 2009, Joan and Rol planned a 40th birthday surprise for Michael in Lk. Geneva. It was the first time that both Michael and Jerome were speechless to see us there. That weekend was such fun with good eats, touring the town and a great 2 hr boat ride with history and stories of the area. What a treat it was for us to have this time together. These are special memories we will treasure forever.

Rest in Peace Rol....I remember Rol saying many years ago, it's not so much when you die, it's how you die...how true your words were.
Good bye Rol, we will miss you.
Dottie.

We have so many great memories that we shared with you and Rol: the trips, the parties, the endless poker games, the Pillsbury Dough Boy bobbing for apples in June. He had a good heart and, in his own quiet way, he knew how to enjoy life to the fullest. We'll miss him.
