Rev. Robert E. Massey

Reverend Robert E. Massey, 80, of Greenfield, WI, formerly of Linn Township, died Sunday November 18, 2018. Robert Eugene Massey was born on September 17, 1938 in Janesville, WI the son of the late Francis and Alice (Knutson) Massey Sr..  Father Massey was ordained to the priesthood by Archbishop William E. Cousins in 1975 at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Milwaukee..  Father Massey served several parishes in southeastern Wisconsin; retiring in 2009.  He also was on the faculty of St. Francis deSales College in St. Francis, WI and Marquette University in Milwaukee.

Father Massey is survived by two nieces Dana and Heather Massey and a grandniece Grace Massey.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Francis Massey Jr. and a sister Mary Alice Wortman.  He will be dearly missed by so many.

Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon on Monday December 3, 2018 at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva, WI.  Burial will follow in St. Francis deSales Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday, in church, from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested in his name to St. Francis deSales Parish.
