It is with great sadness that the family of Phyllis Lorraine Manley announces her passing on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at the age of 89 years.
Born in Genoa City, Wisconsin to William and Ethel Anderson on January 11, 1929. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, was a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, and worked with various charities. Her interests included family, cooking, baking, sewing, crocheting, and hunting for a great bargain.
Phyllis was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. Family was her passion and the pride of her life. She was a kind and gentle person, who loved nothing more than spending time with family. She always felt that her children were her greatest accomplishment. Phyllis found her solace in the Lord and she made it a priority to have all of her children involved in the church community, which is something her children will be forever grateful.
Phyllis will be lovingly remembered by her son, Curt (Patti) Gage – Oceanside, CA., daughter Cindy (Floyd) Borkhuis – Lake Geneva, WI., daughter Theresa (Tom) Cox – Williams Bay, WI., daughter Vickie Rybinski – Jacksonville, FL., and son Scott (Laura) Manley – Lake Geneva, WI. Phyllis will also be forever remembered by her 14 grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy, Shane, Rebecca, Kathy, Chris, Jeff, Eric, Amanda, Jacob, Jason, Michael, Gregory, and Katherine and her 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother who died at birth, son Terry Manley, grandson Donnie Scott, daughter Sandy Robers, son Clark Gage, and devoted husband Charles Manley.
There will be a celebration of life with the immediate family at a later date.
Phyllis had kindly asked for a small private ceremony with immediate family. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared and loved her throughout her life.
