Mary "Frannie" Schaffer

Mary (Frannie) Schaffer, 71, of Chicago, IL, Siesta Key, FL and Williams Bay, WI, died Thursday September 21, 2017 at her home in Williams Bay. Mary Frances Schaffer was born in West Bend, WI on November 13, 1945 the daughter of the late Rudolph and Elizabeth (Slatinshek) Schaffer. Starting at old Comiskey Park, in Chicago, Frannie managed a beer stand for 40 years. She traveled extensively throughout the world where she loved meeting the “locals”, sharing a laugh and snorkeling. She enjoyed investing in real estate and giving to a worthy cause. In remembrance we ask that the next time you are at a ballgame, kindly grab a beer and send a toast her way. She will be smiling back at you. Cheers! Frannie is survived by: a brother David (Kathleen) Schaffer of Frankfort, IL and a sister Susan (Joan Hinckley) Schaffer of Menlo Park, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services for Frannie will be held at a later date. Derrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Lake Geneva, WI is assisting the Schaffer family with arrangements.
