Martin Joseph Heim

Martin Heim, of the Spring Grove area, died on September 2, 2019 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center.

Born Martin Joseph Heim on September 18th, 1927 to the late Sebastian and Katherine (Scheimel) Heim in Chicago, Illinois.    Martin was a member of the graduating class 1945 from Tiledon High School in Chicago.  After High School Martin went to a trade school where he learned how to become a cabinetmaker.  On November 8th, 1958 Martin was united into marriage to his wife of 53 years Eva.  Eva preceded Martin in death on February 13th, 2011.

Martin loved being a cabinet maker and spent his career making cabinets for Jewel Grocery Stores. Martin also loved to watch westerns and their was always one on when ever you stopped over to see him.  Martin also had a passion for fishing and gardening.

2 children survive Martin: Joseph Heim and Elizabeth (Walter) Zdaniewicz of Spring Grove, Illinois.  2 grandchildren: Robert (Kelli) Zdaniewicz and Susan (Shawn ) Nichols and 3 great grandchildren: Danny, Andrew, and Scarlet all survive their grandfather.

Services for Martin will be held Friday September 6th, 2019 at 11:00am in the main chapel of Derrick Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held from 9:00am till the time of service on Friday.   Burial will follow the service on Friday at St. Johns Cemetery in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin.
