Message from Father Larry Brennan

My uncle, Dennis Brennan, told me of your mother's death.  God rest her.  She was certainly a service-minded person.  I hope you are experiencing the consolation of our Easter faith.  Death was transformed by Christ from a bitter end to a passageway of new life.  Your mother has gone before us, where we all hope to follow.  God bless you in your sorrow and give you hope.  In Christ our Life.

To  all of Marilyn's family, I want to tell you how much you are all in our thoughts and prayers. We loved your Mom so much, I also wanted to say I just read my last message and am so sorry about the spelling. All who knew your Mother knew how much that would have drove her nuts.Hopefully all those words will get fixed before that letter reaches Heaven.   loveyou all Chrissy

Marilyn, how can I even begin to tell of all the wonderful things you have done since the very firist day we met.1998 I was the very first person to send an email on the brand new website. I can not and never will forget how the LORD guidedme here. St. Mary's Church in Pell Lake Wi.  Who out west ever heard of Pell Lake?   We seen the house one time and in three months there we were! From the second I knocked on the rectory door it was as if I had been apart of the Church and community all my life. From that day on I think I must have sat at the dining room table a million times.Father Dennis would always say {What Would JESUS Do} and that is how that little church was run. A true Minestry, there was never a person turned away, never a tear that could not be shed or excitment that could not be expressed.YOU Marilyn were the heaert and soul of that church.   Father and you were a team and we all loved Father dearly, but lets all face it, you were that (Wind beneith all our wings)  even Fathers. Without you  there our church would have never served this community like it did.
You are th one who always beleaved that the church was the people that worship there and that  is how you ran it. No one was ever turned away.  How does everyone think that Father Dennis could always pronouce  all those names right    YOU   You  were behind every idea every function.   I  could go on and on about all the wonderful things that you two cooked up. I wasn't there all those many years before that but I feel like I was. YOU my wonderful friend kept not only me going in that church(you could talk people out of there socks)  But so many that never knew that they had the faith and courage to serve in that community,in that one church,  just one room in our FATHERS Mansion of many rooms. We all loved you Marilyn. And as much as we also loved Father Dennis and his dedacation to his Parrish Family YOU truely were that whisper in his ear. You were his Hero, his rock, his strength  That is something he told me personally many times.
We all know that song was really  our gift to you Marilyn, you were truely  a hero to all of us. Your Parrish Family. I needed to say this, there was never a more loving team, a more caring family, You truly lived the words What Would JESUS do with every breath you took.
There was not a place in the world that could even hold a candle to OUR ST MARY'S of Pell lake 'Wisconsin.     Marilyn Kingston Parrish Coordinater that Dining room table , there was no place safer on earth. It was truly THE HOUSE OF THE LORD.

I Love you always and forever        me

Dear patty,
I was very blessed to have met your mom, I would go in her room and clean it
For her we would have long talks and make each other laugh, I would make hair clips
For one of her grandaughters and she made my mother 2 necklesses that she enjoys
The nursing home isn't the same without her, when I go to her room I still wait for her warm
Welcome she slways gave me. She will always be in my thoughts. God puts people in our lives for a reason weather it's along time or short time but what time he gave us was special.

Marilyn,

Where do I begin...first I want you to know I always have and always will love you dearly.  You have always been there...for everyone...and you were one of the kindest and caring people I have ever had the honor of knowing.  I will never forget the day I told you that you were going to be a grandmother! Through even the toughest of times, you always found a silver lining and inspired those around you to do the same. You loved unconditionally, you served your community and your church with immeasurable dedication.  I will miss our conversations very much. I know god is at your side now and certain he appreciates and loves you as much we have.  You are truly going to be remembered and missed by all.

Patty & Lisa,
We are so sorry for your loss.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all and we are here for you always.  Big hugs for all...love you!
