Marie M. (Monchamp) Moreau

Marie M, Moreau, 101, a long time resident of Lake Geneva died Wednesday August 2, 2017 at Lakeland Health Care in Elkhorn, WI.  The former Marie M. Monchamp was born in Harrisburg, PA on February 11, 1916 the daughter of the late Lawrence and Lena (Bellefeville) Monchamp.  On October 24, 1964 in Fox Point, WI she was united in marriage to Ronald E. Moreau; he preceded her in death on February 20, 2017. 

She had worked for many years for Arnold’s Drug Store in Lake Geneva as a cosmetician. 

Marie was a member of Saint Francis deSales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva; she loved her God with all her heart. She was a long time member of Catholic Foresters of America.  She loved to play cards and everyone that she met became her friend.    

She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews and many dear friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother Vern Monchamp.

Services for Marie will be held on Monday August 28th, 2017 at 11:00am in the chapel of Derrick Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held from 10:00am till the time of service on Monday.  Burial of ashes will be held immediately after the service at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Cemetery.
