My deepest condolences to Joe's wife and family.
Joe was on of my best instructors at MATC. I always feel comfort in his teachings because he always put is students first. Always a fun personality, passionate, and always talking about how he loved his wife, family, and grand children, Oh, and his wine! I remember always calling him Mr. D'lugosz, and he told me just to call him Joe. To this day I still call him Mr. D'lugosz. LOL! Joe was an important part of my life, which I will always cherish. I am looking at Joes business card right now as I was going to call Joe, to say Hi, and hoped to meet with him this summer with some of his former colleagues from MATC I still keep in contact with. Joe was a great instructor, person, and friend whom I always admired and respected. I will miss him dearly. God Bless you Joe, your family and friends. Thank you for being a part of my earthly life.

I started to teach at MATC after Joe retired. However I only met him twice, he made a lasting impression with his cheerful demeanor and bubbly personality. From time to time I'd heard students coming back visiting MATC asking about Joe and mentioned about how they enjoyed his classes. I want to extend my deepest condolences to Joe's family and friends.

I was very sorry to hear about Joe's passing. As a fellow faculty member at Milwaukee Area Technical College, I admired his wonderful talents, and enjoyed working with him. I offer you my condolences.

I loved teaching beside Joe at MATC.  He was one of the best instructors those kids had.  I loved seeing his illustrations on the chalkboards.  He understood the value of drawing skills and learning perspective.  He will be missed by his former co-workers and the students who appreciated his instruction.  We had hoped to visit him this summer.  May he rest in peace and my sincere condolences to his wife and family.
