Jason Alan Schneider

Jason A. Schneider, 30, of Genoa City, Wisconsin died unexpectedly at St. Luke’s Hospital on Saturday June 17th, 2017.

Born Jason Alan Schneider on February 1st, 1987 to Jennifer Rovnyak in Winfield, Illinois.  At age 6 Jason was adopted by John Schneider.  Jason was a member of the graduating class of 2005 from Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Worth, Texas.  After Jason and his family moved back to the area he attended McHenry County College where he received an Associates degree in Criminal Justice.  On March 28th, 2014 Jason was united into marriage to the former Meagan Brennan.

Jason was a true family man.  He could be found spending the majority of his free time with his kids and his wife.  Jason was the assistant coach of his son’s baseball team.  Jason loved to take the kids fishing and when there was a project or a competition at his kid’s school he was right there encouraging and participating with his kids.

Jason is survived by his wife of 3 years Meagan.  3 children: Savanna Brennan, Austin Schneider, and Brantley Schneider all survive Jason. Jason’s parents: John and Jennifer (Rovnyak) Schneider 2 brothers: Jacob Schneider and John Schneider Jr. of Genoa City all survive Jason.  Jason’s grandparents: Joyce Schneider of South Elgin, Illinois and Richard and Judith Ann Rovnyak of Weatherford, Texas and many aunts, uncles , and cousins all survive Jason.  Jason was preceded in death by his Grandmother Jean Heidrich, Grandfather George Schneider Jr., his Uncle George Schneider III, and his cousin Kelly Kadisak-Brock.

Services for Jason will be held on Wednesday June 28th at 11:00am at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva; Father Sergio Lizama will be presiding.  Burial will be immediately after the service at Hillside Cemetery in Genoa City, Wisconsin.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 27th, 2017 from the hours of 4:00pm till 8:00pm in the chapel of Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family has asked for people to make a donation to the family to help offset unforeseen expenses.  A donation tab has been added for your added convenience.
