Henry J. Pabich, 84, of Lake Geneva, WI, formerly of Stanley, WI, died Friday August 25, 2017 at Holton Manor in Elkhorn, WI.  Henry John Pabich was born in Thorp, WI on July 15, 1933 the son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Paperniak) Pabich.  He was a graduate of Thorp High school in Thorp WI and then from the University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy in Madison, WI. On June 9, 1956 at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva he was united in marriage to the former Shirley Byron.Following graduation he served his internship at Arnold’s Drug Store in Lake Geneva. After working at Arnold's Drugs he and Shirley moved to Thorp, WI where he worked and eventually bought Wolf Drug Store.  He also then owned and operated Hank’s Pharmacy in Stanley, WI. . 

Hank had been a member of the Lions Club in Thorp and Stanley, WI; He was a founder and member of the Thorp Sportsman’s Club. He was a member and President of the Stanley Commercial Club as well as the Stanley Businessmen's Club. He enjoyed snowmobiling as a member of the Thorp and Stanley snowmobile clubs.  He was a member of the Beekeepers Association owning 200 bee hives.  And he was an avid bowler and fisherman.

Hank had a great love for his dogs, especially Maxi, Susie and his best friends Misty and Sassy    

Hank is survived by: the love of his life for over 61 years, his wife Shirley, 5 children; Dawn Pabich of Oconto, WI, Sharlene (Gene) Hejhal of Twin Lakes, WI, Dean (Roberta) Pabich of Loyal, WI, Lorilyn (Jeffrey Koepke) Pabich of Waterford, WI and Terry (Jenny) Pabich of Roberts, WI, 6 grandchildren; Leann, Emma, Ben, Riley, Gavin, and Gwen, 2 great-grandchildren; Lilly and Owen, a brother Jim Pabich of Chippewa Falls, WI, 2 sisters; Mary Ellen Andrews of Golden, CO and Barbara Bodner Johnson of Washington, DC and a sister-in-law Blanch (the late Richard) Pabich of Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Richard.

Services for Henry will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday September 2, 2017 in the chapel of  Derrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Lake Geneva; Father Mark Danczyk of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church will officiate.  Visitation will be Saturday, at the funeral home, from 9:30 a.m. until time of services.  To sign the on-line guest registry click guest book/condolences.
