Frank D. Guske, 85, of Pell Lake, WI, died Saturday May 12, 2018 at his home. Franklin D. Guske was born on March 4, 1933 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Frank and Monica (Zickus) Guske. On April 4, 1959 in Chicago, IL he was united in marriage to the former Anna Fazio. He was Veteran of the Korean War serving with the United States Air Force. Frank was a member of the Lake Geneva Lions Club and Frank Kresen American Legion Post #24. He was an avid bowler and owned and operated Lake Geneva Lanes in Lake Geneva, WI for many years. He enjoyed helping others and was a friend and mentor to many people. His greatest joy, however, was spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by many.
Frank is survived by: Anna, his wife of 59 years, 4 children; Frank (Terri) Guske Jr. of Lake Geneva, WI, Dr. Paul (Beth) Guske of South Barrington, IL, Jackie (Ernest) Urbahn of Muskego, WI and Michael (Tiffany) Guske of Kenosha, WI, 7 grandchildren; John, Maggie, Thomas, Lauren, Nick, Josh and Katie and a sister Loretta (Morris) Nelson of Travers City, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Richard.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday May 17, 2018 promptly starting at 11:00 a.m. at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Twin Lakes, WI. Visitation will be Thursday in church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Following the Mass a gathering of friends and a celebration of his life will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Geneva National near Lake Geneva, WI. Derrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services is honored to be assisting the Guske family with arrangements.
