Ferenc "Frank" Jambor

Ferenc “Frank” Jambor, 85, of Twin Lakes, WI, formerly of Gurnee, IL, died Sunday December 17, 2017 at Artisan Assisted Living in Lake Geneva, WI.  Ferenc Laszlo Jambor was born in Budapest, Hungary on October 20, 1932 the son of the late George and Erzsebet (Bitzo) Jambor.  He was educated in Hungary earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering.  In 1956, in Budapest, he married his wife Veronika; they immigrated to the United States on November 24, 1969.  She preceded him in death in March of 1984.  He attained his U.S. Citizenship in 1974.  He had worked for many years at Hollister Manufacturing in Libertyville, IL. 

Frank was an avid reader he also enjoyed opera and classical music.  He greatly appreciated the visual arts and he enjoyed traveling.  He enjoyed collecting stamps and coins.

Frank is survived by: a son George (Lynn) Jambor of Twin Lakes, WI, 2 grandsons; Mark and Allen, a sister Ibi Karoly of Budapest, Hungary and his girlfriend of 33 years Senta Privitzer of North Brook, IL.
