Eleanor Mary (Siblik) Gerald

Eleanor M. Gerald, 86, of Lake Geneva, died Saturday August 24, 2019 at Lakeland Health Care Center in Elkhorn.  The former Eleanor Mary Siblik was born in Lake Geneva, WI on February 8, 1933 the daughter of the late Henry and Evelyn (Robers) Siblik.  She was a graduate of Lake Geneva High School, graduating in 1951.  Following graduation she joined the School Sisters of Saint Francis and was a nun for 16 years.  Upon leaving the convent she moved to Maine where she met her future husband.  They were united in marriage on September 22, 1973 in Lake Geneva; he preceded her in death on December 6, 1989.  She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. 

Eleanor is survived by: a brother Charles (Rosemary) Siblik of Lake Geneva, 2 nieces; Gina (Mike) Smith and Kristin (Steve) Rote, a great-niece Grace Rote, 2 great-nephews; Tyson Rote and Xavier Siblik.  She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers Henry Siblik Jr. and Edward Siblik.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday August 28, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Saint Francis deSales Catholic Church; Father Mark Danczyk will officiate.  Visitation will Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.  Derrick Funeral Home is honored to be assisting with arrangements.  To sign the on-line guest registry click Guest Book.
