Betty E. Wagner, 87, of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin died on January 6th, 2018 at Geneva Lake Manor.
Born Betty Elizabeth Galdikas on December 8th, 1930 to the late Alexander and Stella (Armalis) Galdikas. Betty was a member of the graduating class of 1949 from Parker High School in Chicago, Illinois. Betty married the late George H. Wagner in Kentucky in 1952.
4 children survive Betty: Robert (Judy) Wagner of Melbourne, FL., Sandra (Rick) Nichols of Gormanin, W.V., Timothy Wagner and Linda (Rick) Kluge both of Lake Geneva. 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren all survive Betty. 2 sisters: Silvia (Jack) Bender and Valerie (Bill) Dickman also survive Betty. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, George on March 3rd, 1975. 1 son, John Wagner; a sister Bertha Polikan and 1 brother Ed Wagner all preceded Betty in death.
Visitation will be held for Betty on Thursday January 11th, 2018 from 5:00pm till 7:00pm in the main chapel of Derrick Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Friday January 12th, 2018 at 11:00am at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva. Burial will follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery in New Munster, Wisconsin.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family has asked that you make a donation in Betty’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. A link has been provided below for your convenience.
