Betty Jane Lempart, 87, a longtime resident of Lake Geneva, WI, died Sunday November 4, 2018 at Geneva Lake Manor Nursing Home in Lake Geneva. The former Betty Jane Carlson was born December 1, 1930 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Gunner and Linnea (Wigren) Carlson. She was a graduate of Jones Commercial High School in Chicago. Betty was also known by her friends as “Betty Boop”. She enjoyed doing crafts such as sewing and macramé; she also enjoyed gardening. She was an excellent cook and baker making delicious meals and treats for family and friends.
Betty is survived by: 3 children: Steve Lempart of Lake Geneva, WI, Bonnie Lempart of Elk Grove Village, IL and Kim Lempart of Delavan, WI, 2 granddaughters; Michele and Melanie and a sister Janet Sadrakula. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons Bruce and Ken and 2 brothers Leonard and Kenneth.
Services for Betty will be held on Thursday November 8 at 4:00 p.m. in the main chapel of Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva. Visitation will be Thursday, at the funeral home, from 2:00 p.m. until time of services. The Derrick Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Lempart family.
