Anne M. (Toms) Olhava

Anne M. Olhava, 69, of Hebron, IL, died Wednesday November 1, 2017 at Centegra Hospital in McHenry, IL.  The former Anne Marie Toms was born in Chicago, IL on March 16, 1948 the daughter of the late Roy and Patricia (Heniff) Toms.  She was a graduate of Mercy High School in Chicago.  On July 13,1974 in Chicago, IL she was united in marriage to Michael J. Olhava. 

She was an active member of the Christian Life Church in Elkhorn, WI.   She was the Past President of Chicago North International Suburban Area Aglow International. She was Past President of Antioch Lighthouse Aglow International.  She was Supervisor of Women’s Ministries and was the Christian Life Church prayer coordinator.

Anne is survived by: Michael, her husband of 43 years, 6 children; Mary Olhava of Tempe, AZ, Maxine (John) Schmidt of Carpentersville, IL, Mickey (Mariah) Olhava of Woodstock. IL, Joseph Olhava of Hebron, IL, Maureen (Jacob) Stonehocker of Twin Lakes, WI and Annie (Brett) Bemann of Waukesha, WI, 9 grand children, 2 sisters; Pat (David) Zawitaj of Manteno, IL, Nancy  (Ed) Hanson of Edwardsville, IL, 5 brothers; Terry Toms of Oak Lawn, IL, Denny (Debbie) Toms of Dyer, IN, Roy (Sandie) Toms of Saint Charles, IL, Paul (Monica) Toms of Chicago, IL and Dick (Nancy) Toms of Rocklin, CA.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva, WI and after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in church.  Services for Anne will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Christian Life Church, 4512 County Rd. F, Elkhorn, WI; Pastor Dave Hawley will officiate.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Memory Gardens.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested to the Olhava family.  To sign the on-line guest registry click guest book/condolences on the left side of your screen.
