Ruth C. (Zielinski) Roberts

Ruth C. Roberts, 81, of Delavan, WI died Tuesday March 7, 2017 at Aurora West Allis Medical Center in West Allis, WI.  The former Ruth Carol Zielinski was born in Blue Island, IL on December 20, 1935 the daughter of the late John F. and Marie M. (Polka) Zielinski.  On September 27, 1953 in Necedah, WI she was united n marriage to Homer Roberts; he preceded her in death on September 4, 2015.

Ruth was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.  She enjoyed walking, going to church and listening to music. She enjoyed helping others and volunteered with several charities.  She was a former 4-H leader, member of P.T.A. band mother and girl scouts.

Ruth is survived by: 7 children; Homer R. Roberts of Glendale, AZ, Michael Ann) Roberts of Elkhorn, WI, Sandra (special friend Charlie) Roberts of Biloxi, MS, Russell Roberts of Madison, WI, Janice (special friend Rick) Roberts of Eau Claire, WI, Ronald Roberts of Madison, WI and Gary Roberts also of Madison, WI, 5 grandchildren; Amber, Brittany, Rachael, Rebecca and Jason and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
