Mary L. (Fagan) Berkery

Mary L. Berkery, 85, of Delavan, WI, died Tuesday October, 24, 2017 at Holton Manor in Elkhorn, WI.  The former Mary Louise Fagan was born in Oak Park, IL on January 15, 1932 the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Horrigon) Fagan.  On October 25, 1952 in Chicago, IL she was united in marriage to John C. Berkery; he preceded her in death on December 4, 2003. 

Mary loved to knit and sew and do arts and craft projects. She was an avid golfer and spent many happy hours on the golf course.  She was a talented singer and enjoyed singing in the choir at Westshire Farms.    

She is survived by:  5 children; Leigh (Jerry) Mortier of Lake Geneva, WI, Timothy J. Berkery of Aztec, NM, Terrence (Jody) Berkery of Clinton, IN, Linda (David) Travelino of Ijamsville, MD and John A. Berkery of Delavan, WI, 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a sister Joanne Johnson.

Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Saturday October 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Francis deSales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva Father Sergio Lizama will officiate..  Visitation will be Saturday, in church, from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.  Derrick Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the Berkery family with arrangements.
