Joseph Stephen Ahlgren

Joseph S. Ahlgren, 22, of Lake Geneva, WI, Died Saturday November 26, 2016 in Lake Geneva.  Joseph Stephen Ahlgren was born in Lake Geneva, WI on November 22, 1994 the son of Stephen and Cathleen (Waldorf) Ahlgren.  He graduated from Badger High School in 2013 where he was captain of the soccer team.  He was voted all conference soccer player twice while at Badger.  At the time of his death he was attending the University of Wisconsin, Parkside in Kenosha, WI. 

Joey is survived by: his parents Stephen and Julie Ahlgren of Lake Geneva, and a brother James of Lake Geneva.  He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister Stephanie.

There will be a memorial mass held for Joey on Saturday December 10th, 2016 at 11:00am at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.  Father Jim Schuerman will be presiding.

A gathering of friends to celebrate Joey’s life will be held on Saturday December 17, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Derrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Lake Geneva.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested in Joey’s name to the American Red Cross.  A link has been provided below for your convenience.
