David T Martin

David T. Martin, 53, of Lake Geneva, WI, died Saturday July 9, 2016.  David Thomas Martin was born in Milwaukee, WI on December 15, 1962 the son of Fredrick and Sandra (Palmer) Martin.  He graduated from Brookfield East High School in 1980.  On April 1, 1989, in Fontana, WI, he was united in marriage to the former Joanne Smith.  At the time of his death he was employed as the Logistics Supervisor for San Jamar in Elkhorn, WI.  Dave was an avid Wisconsin sports fan faithfully following the Green Bay Packers, the Milwaukee Brewers and the Wisconsin Badgers.  His greatest love was spending time with his family traveling the world.

Dave is survived by: Joanne, his wife of 27 years, 2 daughters Samantha and Alexandra at home, his mother Sandy Martin, 4 sisters; Valinda (Elmer Von Gulner) Martin, Yvonne Martin, Valerie (Keith) Hammitt and Jennifer Martin, sisters-in-law; Marian Smith, Teresa (Thomas) DeVries, brothers-in-law; Eugene (Ana) Smith, Andrew Smith and Bernard Smith, nieces & nephews; Joshua, Michael, Kurtis (Nicole), Tanya, Kyle, Bridget (Jason) Beck, Nicholas and Joseph DeVries, Alexi, Lucas and Declan Smith, 2 great-nieces Mackenly and Kyla and a great-nephew Kasen. He was preceded in death his father Fredrick, his father and mother-in-law Eugene and Betty Smith and a brother-in-law Gregory Smith.

Services for Dave will be Saturday July 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Francis deSales Catholic Church; Father Jim Scheurman will officiate.  Burial will follow in Saint Francis deSales Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested in Dave’s name to: the American Heart Association; a link is provided.  To sign the on-line guest registry click guest book/condolences.
